04月08日讯 昨日NBA常规赛结束后，快船、勇士、森林狼、灰熊四队战绩皆来到46胜32负，按照NBA排名规定分列西部5-8名。值得一提的是，目前位于附加赛区的球队为森林狼、灰熊、国王、独行侠，但四队目前差距极大：
西部第9的国王，落后森林狼与灰熊8个胜场。
西部第10的独行侠，落后森林狼与灰熊8.5个胜场。
同时，西部第11的太阳（理论上仍存进入附加赛可能），落后森林狼与灰熊11个胜场。
对此，NBA记者Tomer Azarly发推表示：“越看越觉得，根本就不需要举办西部附加赛之战。是时候重启“泡泡园区”时期的胜负场差上限机制了。”
